An exclusive screening of the documentary, The Empathizer, featuring second-generation Vietnamese Americans traveling back to Vietnam, is presented by The Foundation for Asian American Media and HAIBAYÔ. Following the screening, guests will enjoy a live comedy show starring the comedians from the film.

Heritage Museum of Asian Art
Learn about the traditional Japanese art of Gyotaku (魚拓 — fish printing) in this beginner art class hosted by the Heritage Museum of Asian Art. Participants will learn about the history and creation process of Gyotaku and complete beautiful fish prints to take home! Finish your visit with a tour of the exhibit Gyotaku: Impressions of the Sea, on view through Sunday, October 5, 2025.
