This year's theme is "Designing Future Society for Our Lives". The mission of the Women’s Pavilion is to create a legacy that can be passed on to future generations, and to contribute to unravelling the wisdom of humanity by drawing inspiration from communities across the globe. The Lahore Literary Festival (LLF), one of South Asia’s premier cultural events, returns to Asia Society New York, exploring contemporary Pakistan through artists, writers, and other experts. The festival will present American audiences with a more nuanced view of Pakistan, with discussions on fiction and nonfiction writing, art, science, history, and politics. LLF 2025 brings Lahore and New York together with a vibrant selection of lyrical, literary and musical offerings.

“Holy Shitake: A Wok Star is Born” follows Chef Katie Chin’s heartfelt and humorous journey from a Chinese American girl in Minneapolis to a culinary star. Guided by her mother Leeann Chin—who rose from seamstress to restaurateur—they bond through cooking, face cultural clashes, and build a shared legacy. Join us for a screening of the film Three Seasons (1999), on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the end of the Vietnam War and the 30th anniversary of U.S.-Vietnam Reconciliation. This screening marks the closing segment of Columbia University's symposium Conversations Left Unsettled: Healing the Wounds of War in Vietnam through the Arts, followed by a discussion with the film's director, Tony Bui, and Director of Columbia University's Weatherhead East Asian Institute, Dr. Lien-Hang Nguyen.
