Kathak, one of the eight major forms of Indian dance, will be performed by the Srijan Dance Center and The Kathak Ensemble & Friends, showcasing the rhythmic structure, intricate footwork, and expressive storytelling characteristic of this North Indian classical dance. The dance performance will be accompanied by tabla drummer, Dibyarka Chatterjee, and Hindustani music to create the trademark Kathak rhythms.
