The evening begins with a reception from 6:30–7:30 PM and features drinks, light bites, and sponsor booths, where community members can connect, explore, and celebrate together. It’s a chance to mingle with fellow guests, engage directly with partners, and meet some of the featured performers and speakers.

Following the reception, from 7:30–8:30 PM, the program will feature two in-depth conversations:

  • Dance Spotlight: Interview with Mira Nadon (New York City Ballet principal dance), Alex Wong (“So You Think You Can Dance”) and Phil Chan (Final Bow for Yellowface).

  • Sports Spotlight: Fireside conversation with high-profile AAPI athletes (lineup to be announced soon).

Building on the success of Voices Rising: What’s Next for Asian Americans in the Arts? (May 2024) and Voices Rising: The Future of Asian American Cuisine (Seattle, Nov. 2024), this new showcase highlights the power of athleticism and artistry to tell AAPI stories and inspire future generations.

🎥 The program will be filmed before a live audience in New York City and distributed by our partners at The WNET Group’s ALL ARTS.

👉 Don’t miss this unique convergence of movement, community, and conversation celebrating Asian Americans in Motion.
