Our Virtual Annual Gala was held on Thursday, February 4th, 2021 from 7-9pm EST! This year’s focus was on how the U.S. and China can work together on climate change, COVID-19, and healthcare. 

At the Serica Gala, we heard from and networked at our virtual cocktail rooms with prominent philanthropists Susan & David Rockefeller, on their family’s storied history of philanthropy in China and their current work on U.S.-China relations and sustainability; Deborah Lehr, Vice Chairman & Executive Director of the Paulson Institute, on the Institute’s innovative work on China and green finance; Richard Park, Founder, CEO of CityMD and Managing Partner of Ascend Partners, which invests in companies that improve healthcare access to underserved populations; John Verdieck, The Nature Conservancy’s Director of International Climate Policy; among others.
